"Charliewood Event to Celebrate Movie Glamour" - Charleston Gazzette
All the glamour and glitz of the Golden Age of Hollywood is promised for April 9 when Generation Charleston stages “Charliewood,” a 1940s movieland-themed gala.
Proceeds from the fundraiser will be donated to College Summit to support local college scholarships.
The party begins at 8 p.m. at 405 Capitol St., and will include a live band, DJ, prizes for best period outfits, food and beverages. The 1940s classic film “Casablanca” will be shown in the banquet room.
Tickets are $25 and can be purchased from www.charlestonareaalliance.org/events.
