Generation Charleston started its new year with a bang, bringing in more than 85 people to Dak-a-Reez, the new piano bar on Kanawha Boulevard, for its monthly First Friday.

First Fridays are social and networking events designed to attract new members to Generation Charleston, an emerging leaders group. The event hops around to different locations throughout Charleston, and this Friday night, Dak-a-Reez was definitely the hotspot. The next First Friday is scheduled for Feb. 6 at Edgewood Country Club.
