Since its inception, Generation Charleston has logged hundreds of volunteer hours. Helping others and improving the community are important parts of "change that matters."
We are charged with making the Charlestion region a more attractive place for young leaders to live, work and play. If they help build a community through service, they are more likely to have ties that community.

Generation Charleston over the past four years has raised money for the Childhood Language Center, participated in two Habitat for Humanity builds, helped construct a trail at Cato Park, twice cleaned the banks of the Kanawha River, worked to improved YWCA of Charleston facilities and gathered toys for the Secret Santa program - just to name a few projects.
Last year, Generation Charleston raised money to support a College Summit scholarship, which includes money toward tuition, a laptop computer and book certificates. We're working this year to do the same.
We you join Generation Charlestion, you not only become part of a networking organization - you become part of a community. Charleston already a place you will love. With your help, we're making it even better.
Please contact Megan Tarbett or Eric Kyle if you're interested in joining the Community Outreach Team.
