Mission Statement
The mission of the Greater Charleston Higher Education Council is to create and sustain a higher education alliance that will educate the public locally, nationally and internationally about the strength of higher education in the Charleston area and to leverage higher education as a major resource in assisting with marketing and research activities that will promote economic development. UC is a private university of 1,300 students located in Charleston, WV along the Kanawha River. The University offers 20 associate and bachelor degrees and graduate degrees in Pharmacy and Business.
