Advocacy
The Charleston Regional Chamber of Commerce advocates for members and Charleston’s business community. The Chamber has one registered lobbyist that serves as members’ voices to promote business-friendly policies and initiatives in our region.
Community
Alliance programs, initiatives, and events such as Downtown Streetfest and Brown Bag Lunch Concert Series work to create cool vibes for our community. Our Keep It Local Kanawha Valley and Support Small CWV campaigns drive economic growth to our small businesses.
Networking
The Charleston Area Alliance hosts events like Business After Hours to connect businesses and professionals living and working in Charleston. We also host virtual and in-person events like Elevations Professional Women’s Networking luncheons and small business roundtables that foster collaboration and connectivity.
Professional Development
The Alliance often partners with members to present topics on their areas of expertise. The Alliance also hosts Leadership Kanawha Valley, which is an immersive leadership program designed to educate and empower young, local talent in the Charleston, WV area.
