GROW 2.0 Program Launches to Help Small Businesses Innovate, Develop

Grow 2.0, a business growth workshop series designed to give participants an overall framework for moving businesses forward, launched this week. The Charleston Area Alliance series begins on Monday, October 4, and runs for 12 sessions. 

Registration is free thanks to the support of the Greater Kanawha Valley Foundation Advancing Entrepreneurship Program and City National Bank. 

“This is an entrepreneurial ‘boot camp’ that connects local business owners to the people and resources they need to truly grow, even during the most challenging times,” said Susie Salisbury, the Alliance’s vice president of community development. “Our goal is to foster entrepreneurship throughout the Kanawha Valley.”

The Grow 2.0 sessions include guest presenters and business leaders, and topics include:

  • Product Innovation
  • Design Thinking
  • Business Development
  • Sales & Marketing
  • Financial Projections
  • Legal Strategy
